Mayor Shoemaker criticizes the State Delegation's vote on the 2006 commissioner districts. Mayor Shoemaker recently switched from a Democrat to a Republican purely to improve his chances of defeating the current Republican delegates, Nancy Stocksdale and Tanya Shewell. Both Delegate Stocksdale and Delegate Shewell have been strong proponents of Republican causes in the General Assembly and deserve to be re-elected.
